Frequently Asked Questions
Your ticket to the world of Alpine beers includes:
- 1× exclusive ‘Craft Master One’ festival glass by Riedel Spiegelau
- 3× tokens, each worth €1
- Card payments? Of course! At our main ticket offices, you can pay for your starter pack and extra tokens conveniently by card (debit/credit card) or in cash.
- Beer sales: Beer is available at the brewery stands exclusively in exchange for tokens. The first 3 tokens are already included in your starter pack; you can buy more at any time from the festival ticket offices.
- Food & Merchandise: In the Food Corner, at the merchandise stalls and for other products from the breweries, you can also pay flexibly by card or in cash.
- Cash top-up: If you do need cash – the nearest cash machine is just a stone’s throw away at the Raiffeisen branch (Herzog-Siegmund-Ufer 6).
- Toilets in the Market Hall: The toilet facilities in the Market Hall are available to our festival guests. These can be accessed via the side entrance to the Market Hall and are signposted.
- Cleaning & Hygiene: A charge of €1 per toilet visit applies to cover cleaning costs..
- Accessible toilet: An accessible, wheelchair-friendly toilet is located right next door in the Market Hall, or in the adjoining Marktbar on the festival site.
Yes, the Beer Alps Festival is an event for the whole family. However, the serving of beer is subject to the Tyrolean Youth Protection Act (no alcohol for under-16s; spirits only for those aged 18 and over). Starter packs are, of course, only available to those aged 16 and over.
Yes! The Beer Alps Festival goes ahead whatever the weather. Whilst the market square offers plenty of open-air space, we’ll be providing plenty of covered areas and tents at the stalls so that you can enjoy your beers in the dry.
Yes, definitely! You can rinse your festival glass with fresh water at any time at the designated rinsing stations on the site, so that the taste of the previous beer doesn’t spoil your new tasting experience.
